TCL CSOT is pushing InkJet Printed OLED technology into the monitor market with plans to supply panels for both displays and laptop screens. This manufacturing shift could lower panel costs and expand availability of high-quality OLED displays for consumers who currently pay a premium for these screens.

InkJet Printed technology reduces waste and costs for future displays.
The company operates a 5.5-generation production line that has already entered mass production for medical OLED devices. The same facility now runs validation programs with major brands to qualify panels for monitors and laptop computers before commercial release.
InkJet Printed technology replaces traditional vacuum deposition methods used by LG Display and Samsung Display, which reduces material waste and manufacturing costs. The company plans to start mass production of IJP monitor panels in Q3 2026, with the first products targeting the 27-inch UHD market segment.
TCL CSOT is constructing an 8.6-generation OLED factory in Guangzhou that aims to begin production in late 2026 or early 2027. This larger facility could eventually support consumer TV panels measuring between 65 and 77 inches by 2027, expanding the technology beyond computer displays.
