Hardware monitoring software HWiNFO has released a new beta version that expands telemetry for gaming handhelds and next-generation Intel processors. Users who track system temperatures and clock speeds on devices like the MSI Claw 8 will see immediate benefits from these updates. The release also brings improved data visibility for NVIDIA graphics cards and updates the Intel PresentMon benchmarking tool.

New telemetry covers NVIDIA clocks and Intel PresentMon updates
The latest version, designated as v8.49-6000 Beta, is now available for download from the developer Real Hardware Information. This software update targets specific hardware configurations that have previously lacked detailed sensor data. The developer has focused on enhancing support for the MSI Claw 8 handheld console and the Maxsun 275HX series systems.
Key technical additions include fan speed monitoring for the MSI Claw 8, allowing users to track cooling performance directly. For NVIDIA GPUs, the software now measures Core, Memory, and XBAR clocks, providing a more complete picture of graphics performance. The update also improves sensor monitoring for the Intel Nova Lake platform and enhances data collection on Maxsun systems.
Intel PresentMon has been updated in this release to align with the new software version. The developer has acknowledged a known bug in the beta build where custom sensors may disappear after installation. HWiNFO author Martin confirmed this issue and stated that the fix is expected in the next build, so users experiencing data loss should wait for the patch.
