The AGESA 1.2.7.0 firmware removes TSME functionality on Ryzen 7 9700X, Ryzen 7 9800X3D, and other consumer models. confirmed with AMD that TSME is officially only for Ryzen PRO and EPYC processors.

BIOS options for TSME may still appear, but the feature does not function on consumer Ryzen. Ben Kilpatrick, a user and developer, reported seeing "Encrypted memory: Not supported" on his Ryzen 7 9700X system.

AMD has not officially commented on the change. The company continues to support TSME on its Ryzen PRO and EPYC lines. We touched on AMD Denies Warranty On Ryzen 9 in our earlier Amd coverage.
