SiMa.ai launched Palette Neat, a development environment for Physical AI that uses a natural language interface. The company says this approach can reduce application development from months to days.
Open-source platform uses plain English
Palette Neat is an open-source platform that pairs with SiMa.ai's Modalix MLSoC System-on-Module or a PCIe companion card. The Modalix SoM runs multiple large language models concurrently while drawing under 10 watts of power.
The SoM is a pin-compatible drop-in replacement for NVIDIA's SoM form factor. According to SiMa.ai, Palette Neat preserves roughly 90% of a developer's existing software investment.
Krishna Rangasayee, CEO of SiMa.ai, said the company is an AI software company that builds its own silicon. He added that Palette Neat and the pin-compatible SoM dismantle the incumbent GPU moat, allowing developers to design systems in plain English and develop them in days or hours.
