Cable Matters has launched a new USB-C KVM switch that lets users control two computers from a single monitor. The switch simplifies desk setups by eliminating the need to swap cables or use multiple keyboards and mice.
Switch between two computers using four methods
The device connects two laptops or desktops to one monitor via USB-C. It supports 4K 60Hz HDMI output and includes a built-in USB hub with multiple ports.
Specifications
- Video Output: 4K 60Hz HDMI
- USB Ports: 2x 10Gbps USB-A, 2x USB-C, 2x USB-A 2.0
- Charging Power: Up to 100W single, up to 85W dual (180W adapter included)
Users can switch between computers using four methods: a front-panel button, an RF remote, keyboard hotkeys, or mouse gestures. The switch also charges two laptops simultaneously, delivering up to 85W to each with the included 180W adapter.
The USB hub offers two 10Gbps USB-A ports, two USB-C ports, and two USB-A 2.0 ports for peripherals. The KVM switch is available now on Cable Matters' website and through authorized retailers.
