Logitech is refreshing its wired gaming keyboard lineup with the G316 X, a full-size model that swaps switches without soldering. The keyboard targets players who want customization without moving to a premium modular board.
Hot-swappable switches and 8 kHz polling
The G316 X is a full-size wired keyboard with hot-swappable switch sockets. It supports both linear and tactile switches, with actuation distances of 1.9 mm and 2.1 mm respectively. The board weighs 920 grams.
Specifications
- Polling rate: 8 kHz
- Response time: 0.125 ms
- Weight: 920 grams
- Actuation distance (linear): 1.9 mm
- Actuation distance (tactile): 2.1 mm
Logitech claims an 8 kHz polling rate, which reduces input delay to 0.125 ms. A dot-matrix LED display sits above the number pad, controlled by a dedicated knob. A 30-zone RGB light bar provides visual feedback for in-game events or system status.
The keyboard uses double-shot PBT keycaps and a snap-fit gasket design for durability. Logitech describes the typing sound as "thocky." The G316 X launches in black and white colorways.
Pricing starts at $119.99 in the US, €119.99 in Europe, and £109.99 in the UK. Global availability begins June 30. Logitech has launched the G316 X gaming keyboard as part of its recent peripheral releases.
