ASUS ProArt AI Laptop Series Showcased at Shanghai Film Festival

ASUS has positioned its ProArt AI laptops as the official computing partner for the Shanghai International Film Festival. The company showcased these machines at a dedicated 'AI Set' event held from June 14 to June 15 in Shanghai. This partnership highlights ASUS's focus on integrating artificial intelligence tools directly into professional creative workflows.

The showcase features several models within the ProArt lineup, including the ProArt 16 and the ProArt 13 2026 editions. The event aims to demonstrate how these devices can handle complex visual tasks through a combination of human creativity and machine learning capabilities. ASUS describes this approach as a fusion mechanism between film creators and AI super-creators.

Spec comparison

The ProArt 16 model is built around the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, which utilizes Zen 5 architecture with twelve cores and twenty-four threads. This CPU can reach clock speeds of up to 5.1GHz. The system pairs this chip with a Radeon 890M integrated graphics unit and an RTX 5070 dedicated GPU.

ASUS claims the ProArt 16 delivers up to 80 TOPS of NPU AI performance alongside 798 TOPS of GPU AI performance for local creative tasks. The laptop includes a 2.8K 120Hz OLED display that covers 100 percent of the P3 color gamut with ten-bit depth support. Memory configurations reach 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM running at 7500MT/s, paired with a 2TB SSD.

Other models in the series include the ProArt 13 2026, which uses the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 mobile processor. The GoPro Edition of this model supports up to 128GB of RAM for demanding workloads. ASUS plans to display these systems at the Shanghai Cinema West Building during the festival dates.
