Lenovo is testing the Legion Tab 5 with a new GameHub emulator. The GameHub 6.0 beta allows the Android tablet to run PC games. The Legion Tab 5 can function as a portable gaming device.

According to Notebookcheck, the tablet runs Vampire Crawlers and Slay the Spire 2 fairly reliably. However, there are long loading times from time to time. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade runs at about 30 frames per second with occasional stuttering.

Beta emulator runs PC games on Android tablet

The GameHub 6.0 beta exhibits known issues such as inconsistent download speeds and occasional crashes. Cloud save syncs sometimes do not work. Game downloads showed highly inconsistent speeds. There were also occasional crashes. Such issues are typical for beta software.

The Legion Tab 5 is available in Europe. GameHub can be downloaded from the website. The tablet offers a way to play PC games on a mobile device, though performance varies by title.
