Epomaker has revealed a new gaming keyboard that swaps traditional Hall effect sensors for tunnel magnetoresistance technology. The move aims to improve sensor efficiency while keeping response times low enough for competitive play. The company shared these details during a YouTube livestream.

The device carries the model name HE65 V2 TMR and uses a 65 percent layout. It keeps dedicated arrow keys alongside a three-key navigation column and adds a programmable knob on the right side. The design appeals to players seeking a smaller keyboard that retains necessary keys for gameplay.

Epomaker equips the keyboard with Creamy Jade Magnetic switches. These switches offer 3.5 millimeters of total travel, start at 30 grams of force, and bottom out at 55 grams. The company states the switches work alongside TTC KOM and Wooting Lekker Tikken switches for cross-compatibility.

The board supports Bluetooth, USB-C wired connections, and a 2.4 GHz wireless dongle that stores inside the case. A 4000 mAh battery powers the unit across all modes. Users can choose between two translucent finishes: dark smoky gray with black accents or clear white.

Epomaker introduced the HE65 V2 TMR as a refresh of its earlier HE65 line. The new version focuses on sensor technology and switch tuning rather than changing the physical layout.

The keyboard remains in the teaser phase. Epomaker has not yet listed a release date or suggested retail price for either colorway.
