Gulikit teased a new portable dock for Nintendo Switch consoles and the upcoming Switch 2. This third-party dock offers a cost-effective alternative to official Nintendo accessories, providing enhanced stability for tabletop and television gameplay setups.
Portable accessory features metal chassis and magnetic cover
The device carries model identifier NS05 and replaces the company's previous ABS casing with an aluminum chassis. It uses plastic on the underside to keep weight down while maintaining structural rigidity.
Ports include HDMI output, a USB-A port, and a USB-C power input. A dedicated dock mode button sits alongside these connections for quick toggling between handheld and TV modes.
A removable magnetic USB-C cover doubles as back support when the console rests in the dock. Slip-resistant feet anchor the unit to flat surfaces, while heat dissipation vents run along the chassis edges to manage thermal output during extended sessions.
