Scythe is bringing back its KAZE FLEX II 120 PWM 1500RPM fan with a stripped-down packaging approach. Scythe replaces the original retail packaging with a simple cardboard sleeve for the KAZE FLEX II fan release. The updated simple package version omits the extension cable, including only four taper screws for mounting.

The product carries model identifiers KFS1225FD15-P/A and ships in a basic cardboard package instead of the previous retail box. The new version omits the extension cable that came with earlier units. The new packaging includes only four taper screws, omitting the extension cable found in previous versions.

The fan maintains its original 120mm form factor and spins at 1500 RPM on a PWM signal. Scythe lists the expected selling price at 580 yen including tax. Sales for the KAZE FLEX II simple package version begin on June 26 in Japan at a price of 580 yen.

Earlier versions of this fan included an extension cable for flexible routing near tight motherboard areas. The current package drops that accessory entirely and relies solely on the included taper screws. The simple package version excludes the extension cable, requiring users to rely on standard fan connections.
