ASUS Poyue Ultra Launches as Ultra-Light AI Business Laptop with 2.8K OLED

ASUS has launched the Poyue Ultra, an ultra-light AI business laptop that targets professionals who need portability and performance. The machine combines a 2.8K dual-layer tandem OLED touchscreen with Intel's latest Core Ultra X7 processor, aiming to deliver a premium experience in a thin and light chassis.

Powered by Intel Core Ultra X7 and Arc B390

The Poyue Ultra is powered by the Intel Core Ultra X7 processor 358H, built on the Intel 18A process with 16 cores reaching up to 4.8GHz. Graphics come from an integrated Intel Arc B390 with 12 Xe cores. The NPU delivers 50 TOPS, and total AI performance reaches 180 TOPS, enabling on-device AI tasks.

The display is a 2.8K dual-layer tandem OLED touchscreen with 1400 nits HDR peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The laptop weighs approximately 1.1kg and measures 10.9mm thick, with a nano-ceramic aluminum finish. It packs 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM at 8533MT/s and a 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD that supports RAID 0/1.

Connectivity includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, HDMI 2.1 TMDS, and an audio jack. Wireless support covers Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0, though the system currently supports Bluetooth 5.4. The 70Wh battery offers up to 24 hours of life and supports PD fast charging, reaching 50% in 30 minutes.

The Poyue Ultra features an ExpertMeet AI meeting assistant with noise reduction, real-time translation, meeting minutes, and document summary. Security includes a fingerprint power button and smart watermark. The keyboard is full-size backlit with 1.5mm key travel and four customizable commercial blue keys. The touchpad is a full-area pressure-sensitive glass panel. Audio comes from six-dimensional spatial speakers with four woofers and two tweeters, supporting Dolby Atmos.

The laptop is available now on the ASUS official store and ASUS JD self-operated flagship store in China. Pricing has not been disclosed. The Poyue Ultra positions itself as a high-end business laptop with a focus on AI features and an ultra-light design.
